STUCK ON U SKETCHES DESIGN TEAM REVEAL - Friday July 18th - BUILD A PAGE - LOVE UNCONDITIONALLY

Hi everyone and welcome to the
STUCK ON U SKETCHES DESIGN TEAM REVEAL
Today I have a new sketch and a build a page for you.
You should be able to put this page together in 1 - 2 hours.

STUCK ON U SKETCHES

 

For this sketch you will need two photos.

HERES HOW

Step 1

Gather together your photos, papers, cardstock and embellishments.



Distress the edges of photos. Cut two matts for the photos and distress the edges.

 

Take a sheet of cardstock and cut to 10.5 x 7 inches, distress edges.

 

Take a white paper doily 6.5 inches in diameter, adhere to the rectangle, adhere a 6 inch doily on top.

 

Adhere the two matted photos.

 

Punch out two doily borders and attach under the rectangle

 

 

Cut two half inch borders, distress the edges and attach.

 

 

Start to embellish with flowers, clocks, butterflies, leaves etc.

 

Add title and journaling.

Midweek Inspiration Card

Hi everyone and welcome to my blog and some midweek inspiration. Today  I have made a card using Heartfelt Creations papers from the Once Upon A Time Collection. Super papers, stamps and dies.
And here is the cardabilities sketch. http://cardabilities.blogspot.co.uk/

HERES HOW
Cut out a 6x6inch panel and distress the edges.
Stamp onto the panel with the large clock and brick stamp.
Cut out some clock faces from one of the papers.
Attach with foam pads, add pearls.
Cut out a tag, ink the edges and add a gem.
Stamp and cut the branches, lightly ink the edges and adhere.
Finish off by adding flowers and butterflies and more gems.
Attach to a piece of cardstock 6.5x6.5 inches, distress the edges.
Attach to the front of a blank card.
There you have it, one quick and easy card.

I loved this sketch, I kept true to the sketch and kept it quite simple.

These are some of the photos taken last week-end at my brothers wedding of  Phillip, Jess and I.

HERES HOW

Cut down a sheet of pretty paper to 11x11 inches, distress the edges

Adhere to a sheet of 12x12 cardstock

Matt three photos as per the sketch

Cut out three banners, ink the edges, attach as per the sketch

Cut out a circle of cardstock, cut in half, adhere as per the sketch

Cut out a circle of pretty paper, cut in half, attach to the matts

Adhere to top and base of photo as per the sketch

Start to embellish, I punched out two butterflies, added flowers and pearls, a small resin angel and clocks. (See link below)

PRIMA BLOG CANDY TO BE WON AND SPECIAL WISHES CARD

Today I have made a card for you using Cardabilities #101 for inspiration.

For this card I used some pretty papers by Heartfelt Creations.

Also I am having a blog followers giveaway. HERES HOW

Cover a blank card with pretty paper

(I used a 6x8inches card)

Cut out a 4x5inch rectangle and distress the edges

Matt and distress two more layers and attach to card

Stamp around the edges with a stitch stamp

Add the matted greeting (with glue and a foam pad at one end)

Attach two hand made flowers and punch and die cut leaves

Add pearls, butterflies, beaded pins, fuzzy fibres and mini roses.

Add two clock faces

Add a circle of twine.

STUCK ON U SKETCHES DESIGN TEAM REVEAL 20TH June - Sweet Memories With You

Welcome to  MY BLOG AND THE 
 STUCK ON U SKETCHES DESIGN TEAM REVEAL.
Here is the sketch

STUCK ON U SKETCHES

 

This is a fabulous sketch by our lovely Nanne, which I absolutely loved putting together.
 I have also entered this into a Challenge over at CSI#128

HERES HOW

First of all choose your colour scheme, I love green and purple.

Choose all your papers, cardstock and embellies.

Matt photo and lightly adhere to background paper.

Add another rectangle layer of card behind this, ink the edges.

Cut out a circle of cardstock the same size as the doily, adhere the doily and attach to layout.

Next cut out a circular photo. Double matt onto cardstock, attach to a doily and adhere as per the sketch.

Attach strips of cardstock for the border.

Now start to embellish.

I started with a large purple flower from Prima.

Then I made some flowers, added them with my hot glue gun, and mixed in some mini roses.

I punched out and die cut my branches.

Add the title and a couple of swirls and there you have it.

Do give it a go, there are fab prizes to be won.

YOU INSPIRE ME

Hi everyone and welcome to my blog.
Today I have just finished a layout using some  Heartfelt Creations papers and flowers.
HERES HOW
Double matt photo and lightly adhere to pretty background paper.
Attach a rectangle doily underneath. Tuck a dark piece of cardstock underneath this and add a bracket.
Attach one small doily that you cut in half, top and base of photo.
Make a tulle flower and attach with hot glue. Add a pearl centre.
Make two more paper flowers and attach.
Add more flowers and embellies.
Add a title to a pretty frame. Attach a pearl.
Punch and cut some green leaves.
Add some butterflies.
Attach a beaded pin.
Add a painted chipboard key.
Add some Prima pearls.

I have to say I struggled a bit with this one as I am not used to putting so many photos onto one page, but I got there in the end!

Looking at it now, I suppose I could have exchanged the four photos for just one, but I do like to keep as true to the sketch as I can. Anyway its done now! I hope you like it.

HERES HOW

Choose all the photos and matt them, distress the edges.

Adhere to the page as per the sketch.

Add borders distressing the edges. Punch out a doily border. Add.

Take some chicken wire chipboard, paint and adhere.

Start embellishing with assorted flowers etc.

Make a small group in the bottom left corner as per the sketch.

Lightly dry paint over the flowers.

Punch out some seashells and ink the edges. Adhere.

Add the title.

Hi lovely scrappers, here is a layout I have made using the Blue Fern Studios May sketch for my inspiration.

HERES HOW

Double matt photo and ink the edges.

Lightly adhere to page.

Cut a 3cm strip from a 12x12 sheet and ink the edges.

Attach as per the sketch.

Start adding layers as per the sketch.

Decorate with assorted flowers, butterflies etc

Using a small lid and some white paint, dab in the corners.

Add some inked stitching around the layout.

Cut out title, ink the edges and adhere.

HI lovely scrappers, happy Friday  and Welcome to the

HERES HOW
Take photo, triple matt and ink the edges.
Cut down black cardstock as per the sketch and double matt, ink the edges.
Adhere to pretty background cardstock.
Cut out a half circle detail from pretty paper. Matt onto black cardstock and add a doily underneath. Adhere.
Add border to left side as per the sketch. Ink edges.
Die cut two swirls and attach.
Die cut a tag, ink the edges and adhere.
Cut out a journaling block, matt onto black cardstock, adhere.
Start to embellish. I used some clock faces, lots of flowers, fuzzy fibres, mini key, arrow and some punched out leaves.
Finally I stamped around the page with some stamps and black ink and added the title. I hope you like it.

STUCK ON YOU SKETCHES DESIGN TEAM REVEAL - THE BEACH - MAY 9th

Hi everyone  Happy Friday and welcome to the 
STUCK ON U SKETCHES DESIGN TEAM REVEAL.
 I have used this fab sketch from our lovely Leah, I hope you give it a go, there are great prizes to be won.

SIMPLE PLEASURES CHALLENGE

I love the beach it is first and foremost my happy place.

Also it the place for simple pleasures. Sun, sand, sea, shells, swimming - all simple but wonderful things. 

HERES HOW

Take a sheet of  pretty paper and distress all around the edges with some white paint and some golden yellow paint.

Add some stamping.

Double matt your photo and lightly adhere to the pretty paper.

Take a punch and punch top and bottom edges of a piece of cardstock cut to 9 x 7 inches.

Adhere to page.

Cut two more layers and adhere as per the sketch.

Add some hessian/burlap to top left and bottom right of the layout.

Add muslin beneath the photo.

Start to attach assorted flowers and embellishments, I used a hot glue gun.

Die cut the title and add some journaling, mine is in a journaling box I have hidden under the photo.
