GUEST DESIGNER FOR BERRY71BLEU - FEBRUARY - MIXED MEDIA CHALLENGE TUTORIAL and PRIMA BLOG CANDY GIVEAWAY

Hi everyone, I am so honoured and excited to be chosen as Guest Designer for Berry 71 Bleu for this month!
The challenge this month is MIX IT UP WITH MIXED  MEDIA. http://berry71bleu.blogspot.ie/2014/02/mix-it-up-with-mixed-media-february.html
Here is a quick picture tutorial, and don't forget to scroll all the way down for my giveaway.

For this challenge I have used a canvas 9.5 inches x 12 inches.

Step 1
Paint a layer of white acrylic gesso onto the canvas, chipboard word and a piece of card 6 x 8.5 inches.
Step 2
Add a mask using texture paste to the top left corner of the canvas and all over the white card.
(For the canvas I coloured my paste with a little dark green paint).
Step 3
Apply spray mists to the dry background canvas and the separate card.
(Cover the canvas corner script with card so as not to cover it with spray).
Step 4
Add some more mists to the card and the canvas.
Step 5
Paint, mist and ink the chipboard word.
Step 6

Take a stamp (mine is a music stamp) and ink, and  randomly ink all over the card and canvas.
Step 7
Add some gold coloured acrylic paint randomly all over the card and canvas then ink the edges of both.
Step 8
I then used a doily lace mask with texture paste on the card and the canvas. (Sorry, I ran out of light for the last picture). Allow to dry.
Step 9
Adhere the card to off- centre of the canvas.
Add a small white doily into one corner.
I added a clock dial that I painted and misted.
I then added the lovely Berry71bleu tag, my photo and the Berry71bleu chipboard word LOVE STORY.
Next I decorated with lots of assorted flowers and a handmade stickpin.
I then lightly gessoed over the flowers and background to soften everything.
