I am beyond excited to be a part of this amazing family of designers. Thank you so much everyone who voted for me, and to Heartfelt who have faith in me.
Here I have used the
Heartfelt Creations Butterfly Dreams Collection
I have made a large card and matching box, see below for full instructions and products used.
My card sitting on the box I made.
INSTRUCTIONS
Take a 7.5 inches square blank card. Cut out from the Butterfly Dreams paper Collection a 7 inch
square matt in pink paper. Matt this
onto a 7.25 " square of aqua green paper. Adhere this to the front of the
card base.
Cut out a 6
inch circle from the paper with the birdcage on. Die cut two Elegant Pocket
Accents borders from white pearl card and attach them to the back of the
circle, one on the top and one on the bottom, so that the pretty edges are
showing. Adhere this to the front of the card, slightly to the left and slightly at an angle.
Take some white paper and the Oakberry Lane stamp and die collection, stamp and
die-cut lots of flowers in plum ink. Stamp and die cut lots of leaves in Leaf Green ink. Colour the
leaves with Leaf Green ink and the flowers with Magenta Hue ink, using sponge daubers. Place the
flowers and leaves in the Flower Shaping Mold and spritz with water. Go through
the machine. When dry, shape with the flower shaping tools from the flower
shaping kit. Make small holes through the centers of the flowers and thread the yellow medium stamens and black small stamens through, using a small piece of wire. Make the flowers with assorted
layers, offsetting the layers as you go, adding hot glue in between the layers. Add hot glue to the reverse.
Die cut the
large tag from the Album Tags and Accents die set, in white pearl card. Die cut one in pale
green paper and one in aqua green paper from the Butterfly Dreams Collection. Cut one
in cardboard. Cover the cardboard tag in white pearl card on the reverse and
pale green paper on the front side. Adhere the smaller aqua green tag onto the
front.
Die cut a
lacy corner in white pearl card from the Elegant Pocket Accents Dies, adhere
onto the left hand corner of the tag. Cut out and adhere the sentiments and
lacy border strips to fit the tag, leaving a small gap at the base. Die cut
another Elegant Pocket Accent die, the smaller one, adhere to the top of the tag,
cut off the excess.
Die cut a
mini tab from the Album Tags and Accents Dies, adhere onto front of tag above
the sentiments border strip. Die cut a small tag, - Best Wishes - from the
paper collection using the Ticket and Tags Die Collection, adhere to front of
tag. Adhere three small aqua green butterflies and one pink butterfly onto the
tag. Add two small blossoms to the tag, and a small pearl at the top of the tag.
Fussy cut
the large butterfly and adhere onto the butterfly on the front of the card.
Start decorating the card with the flowers, leaves and butterflies. Cut the ends off the small black stamens and use as butterfly bodies, attach with hot glue.
Adhere the
large tag a little off to the side of the card, adhere more flowers and leaves
around the base of the tag. Add lots of glitter to finish using dries clear
glue and Rajni Chawla’s glitter.
