Hi lovely crafters, its Christmas here at Heartfelt Creations today!
I have a Christmas card up, using a fold out card, with full instructions. See below.
I have used the gorgeous new
CANDLELIT CHRISTMAS COLLECTION
INSTRUCTIONS
Take the fold out card and using pretty paper from the Candlelit Christmas Paper Collection, draw around each section with a pencil and cut out.
Using the Elegant Borders Basic Die cut out both borders in white card, twice. Starting with the front panel, glue two of the border panel dies, one to the front and one to the back of the card panel, making sure they line up. Now adhere the paper panels you cut out, to the front and back. Stamp in coffee ink, three holly strips, colour in (I used markers) and die cut with the co ordinating die. Adhere one across the back of the first panel. Cut out a sentiment, adhere to the back of the first panel.
For the second panel, adhere the cut out pieces. Adhere holly strips to the front and back. Die cut one Butterfly Kisses Decorative Die Fancy Circle and small circle. Stamp in coffee ink the sentiment Merry Christmas onto the small circle. Adhere to the back of the second panel.
On the third panel, adhere the other two decorative borders from the Elegant Borders Basics Die, one to the front, one to the back, making sure they line up perfectly. Now adhere the cut out panels.
Die cut one Starry Night Decorative Half Circle Die. Adhere to the front of this panel. Cut out and matt a sentiment, adhere.
Stamp with black ink the small Candlelit Poinsettia stamp, colour in, (I used markers), and die cut with the co ordinating die. Adhere to the left side of the panel.
On the back panel, adhere the cut out piece.
Take some vellum and using white ink, stamp lots of Poinsettias. Add white embossing powder and dry with a heat gun. Colour in using the daubers and blue ink. Place in the co ordinating Poinsettia Flower Shaping Mold, spritz with water, run through a die cutting machine, tap out and allow to dry.
Stamp in coffee ink lots of holly leaves, colour in with daubers and olive green ink. Die cut with the co ordinating die. Place in the co ordinating Poinsettia Flower Shaping Mold, spritz with water, run through a die cutting machine, tap out and allow to dry.
Make up the Poinsettias by adhering two of the same size petals together using hot glue, offsetting the petals as you go. Start adhering the Poinsettias and holly leaves with hot glue. Add glitter and prills using dries clear glue. Finish off by adding glitter to the holly strips.
All done.
