INSTRUCTIONS
- Cover an 8 x 8 inch card blank with the pretty purple paper from the Wild Aster Paper Collection.
- Die cut out four Adorn It Pocket Accent Die cuts in white pearl card, arrange them in a circle around the front of the card, adhere.
- Cut out a 6 x 6 inch panel from one of the papers from the Wild Aster Paper Collection. Matt this onto white pearl card leaving a small 1/4 inch border all around the edges. Matt this onto a piece of the pretty lilac paper cut to 6.5 inches square. Ink the edges with purple ink. Adhere to the front of the card on top of the die cuts.
- Cut out a four inch pretty circle from the paper collection. Cut out another circle to 4.5 inch, adhere the pretty circle onto the purple circle. Adhere this to the front of the card with foam strips.
- Stamp in Plum ink lots of Wild Asters using the Wild Aster Die Set. Colour in with lilac ink. Die cut with the co ordinating die. Stamp in Olive ink a few extra petals, colour in with light green ink and die cut with the co ordinating dies. Stamp in Olive ink, six leaves from the Wild Aster Die Set. Colour in with light green ink. Die cut with the co ordinating die. Stamp in Plum ink the Wild Aster Cluster Stamps and the Wild Aster Spray Stamp. Colour in with lilac and green inks or markers. Die cut with the co ordinating dies. Adhere these to either side of the circle.
- Take all the die cut petals and place in the Flower Mold, lightly spray with water and run through a die cutting machine. Tap out, allow to dry. Do the same with the leaves.
- Start to make up your Asters by adhering the petal layers together with dries clear glue. Step the petals if you can. I used three lilac petal layers and one green petals layer for the larger blooms. Two lilac layers and one green layer for the smaller blooms. Pierce the centers of your blooms with a paper piercer. Using a small piece of wire, take your stamens and fold them in half over the wire. Thread the wire through the small pierced holes. Add glue to the reverse to hold. Make some floral buds by rolling up the smaller Aster die cuts and gluing in place. Add these in amongst the Wild Asters. (I made three).
- Adhere some of your smaller blooms to the stamped and die cut clusters you have adhered to the sides of the circle. Start adhering the rest with hot glue around the circle. Adhere the leaves and buds.
- Cut out a sentiment, add foam strips, adhere to a small purple matt. Adhere on the inside of the circle. Add glitter to all the flowers using Ultra Fine Glitter and Dries Clear Glue.
All done.
