CARD - CELEBRATE - CARDABILITIES #107


Hi everyone and welcome to my blog and a card I have just made, using inspiration from Cardabilities sketch #107.


Cardabilities #107

HERES HOW
Cut out a 6 x 6 inch square in pretty paper, ink the edges
Paint some chicken wire chipboard in white paint
Attach to centre of card
Die cut and stamp branch and leaves, ink the edges, attach
Make three large roses and glue down
Add some more small and mini roses
Punch out three mini butterflies, attach mini pearls to the bodies
Matt the title, using foam pads, stick down
Attach to the front of a 6x6 inch card.

Vintage Floret flower die - Heartfelt Creations

Hot glue for the flowers

This is another fabulous sketch by our lovely Leah, I do hope you give it a go. To help you on your way I have a How To below.  
 
 
 
HERES HOW
First of all cut down your chosen backing paper to 11.5 x 11.5 ins
Distress the edges and adhere to backing card
Matt four photos (2 x 2 ins) on black cardstock, trim to size
Cut out three background negative strips, matt onto black card
Adhere to the page as per the sketch
Die cut some branches and adhere
Start to embellish with assorted flowers and butterflies
Add journaling block
Add die cut title.

CARD FOR CARDABILITIES #106


Hi everyone here is a card I have just finished.
I used the Cardabilities Sketch for my inspiration. http://cardabilities.blogspot.co.uk/
I love their sketches as they are a great starting point for your card.
HERES HOW
Cut out a large banner in pretty paper, stamp some script and a stitches stamp randomly on the front
Matt onto co-ordinating cardstock
Adhere to background card cut to 5x5 inches
Matt onto another sheet of card
Attach to the front of a 6x6inch card
Die cut some hearts, ink the edges and attach
Matt and attach a sentiment
Die cut some branches, ink the edges and attach
Make a large flower adhere with hot glue
Add more mini flowers, butterflies and pearls.

Choose a piece of cardstock
Add a scalloped edge sheet of cardstock
Cut down some pretty paper to 11x11inches and adhere
 
 
Add a circle of cardstock
 
 
Add a doily
 
 
Add matted photo
 
 
Add a layer behind the photo
 
 
Add a tag, ink the edges
 
 
Add another layer
 
 
Add some swirls and decorate with flowers and leaves
 
 
Add the title.

CHERISH layout

 

Hi lovely scrappers and welcome to my blog.
HERES HOW I DID THIS
Cut down a 12x12 of pretty paper to 11.5 x 11.5 inches
Adhere to a sheet of brown cardstock
Matt photo in dark brown cardstock
Adhere lightly to the page
Die cut a bird and birdcage, ink the edges and add some string
Die cut a pleated flower and matching border, make up the flower
Add a pearl centre
Die cut some fern leaves, ink the edges
Matt a journaling block in dark brown cardstock, attach to page
Start embellishing by adding flowers and pearls
Add the title.

Pretty paper
Journal block - Heartfelt Creations Paper Pad, Once Upon A Time
Bird and birdcage die - Sizzix
Pleated flower die - Paper Rosette - Sizzix
