29th September HEARTFELT CREATIONS RUSTIC SUNFLOWER COLLECTION QUICK AND EZ CARD WITH MATCHING BOX

Good morning lovely crafters, today I have another Heartfelt Creations Rustic Sunflower Collection card for you.

This is a quick and EZ card, die cutting straight from the paper pad.

OTHER PRODUCTS USED

White card, 6x6inch card blank, clear glitter, Ranger distress inks in Wild Honey, Vintage Photo,   Foam tape, Hot Glue. 

INSTRUCTIONS

Cover a 6x6inch card blank with paper from the paper pad

Die cut the large Courtyard Elegance Die including the outline die, cut off the edges, adhere 

Cut out a pretty panel from the paper pad, adhere

Die cut the Freezer Can and two Sunflower Buckets from the paper pad

Die cut an assortment of Rustic Sunflowers, leaves and a Sunflower Spray from the paper pad

Ink all the edges

Place the sunflowers in the Shaping Mold, lightly spritz with water and run through a die cutting machine

Tap out and lightly finish shaping with the shaping tool

Using foam pads adhere the Freezer can and buckets

Adhere the Sunflower Spray behind one of the buckets

Adhere the Sunflowers and leaves

Add dries clear glue to the sunflower centers and sprinkle in Prills

(I mixed the two colours together)

When dry add clear glitter with Dries Clear Glue and a small brush or sponge

All done.

HOW TO MAKE A 6X6 inch MATCHING BOX
YOU WILL NEED
 A4 card x 2 pieces 
Score board, scoring tool, scissors, paper trimmer, glue,
 flowers and  papers from the paper pad.

HERES HOW
Cut one A4 sheet to 8 1/4 inch square, this is the lid
Cut one A4 sheet to 8 1/8 square, this is the base
Score 1 inch on all sides of both pieces, fold and crease all sides
Cut out tabs on opposite sides,
you will have 4 tabs cut on each piece
 Nip out a tiny wedge on each section of each tab with scissors
Add glue to the front of the tab, bring base up and glue together
Glue all four tabs down and hold the corners together with clips until dry
You are now ready to decorate
Add a piece of pretty paper to the inner base
 Cover the lid with paper
Cover the sides of the lid with pretty paper
Decorate the lid with paper flowers and leaves.
All done.
TOP TIP
If you wanted, you could use a circle punch and punch out half circles on two opposite sides of the lid to  help with lifting the lid. Do this before you glue the tabs together.

White card, 9x4inch card blank, clear glitter, Ranger distress inks in Wild Honey, Vintage Photo, Picked Raspberry, Classic Sunflower stamps and dies, foam tape, Hot Glue. 

INSTRUCTIONS
Take the 9 x 4 inch card blank and cover with paper from the paper pad, leave a small gap all around the edges
Die cut a Royal Elegance Frame large, lightly ink edges, adhere in the center of the card
Cut a 3 3/4 x 8 3/4 piece of pretty paper from the paper pad, adhere
Stamp, colour (I used Zig Markers, and Die cut the Rustic Can, Freezer and Bucket, adhere using Foam Tape
Stamp, colour and die cut an assortment of sunflowers and leaves
Place in Sunflower mold, lightly spritz with water and run through a die cutting machine
Tap out and lightly shape with the flower shaping tool
Glue two layers of each bloom together, adhere around the card with hot glue
Using Dries Clear Glue and a small brush or sponge, add clear glitter
When dry using Dries Clear Glue and Prills, flower centers. (I mixed the Prill colours together to get mixed colour centers)
If you have the Classic Sunflower dies and stamps, use these to make the larger bloom for the front of the box, if not, the smaller ones are fine.

All done. 

HOW TO MAKE THE BOX
The card measures 9 x 4 inches
The box is slightly larger to accomodate the card
You will need two A4 sheets of white cardstock and paper from the paper pad
Cut the lid to 6 3/4 x 11 3/4
Cut the base to 6 1/2 x 11 1/2
Score at 1 inch on all four sides on both pieces, fold and burnish all sides
Cut tabs on opposite sides of the box on both pieces
Nip out a tiny edge on each section of each tab with scissors
Add glue to the front of the tab, bring base up and glue together
Glue all four tabs down and hold the corners together with clips until dry
Line the base of the box with pretty paper
Adhere another paper to the lid,leaving a small gap around edges
Decorate lid with a flower and leaves
All done.

22nd September Heartfelt Creations Classic Sunflower Slim line card



Morning everyone and welcome to my latest card. 

I know the new Rustic Sunflower Collection is out now, but for those of you who have the Classic Sunflower Collection, then this is for you.  

The Classic Sunflower paper pad is still available in the Heartfelt Shop but not the stamp and die. You could make this using the new stamp and die if you have it. 

Today I have made another slim line card with a medium size matching box. See instructions below.

White card for the box, 9x4inch card blank, clear glitter, small black beads, dark brown glitter, Ranger distress ink - Wild Honey, Ranger Archival ink - Leaf Green, Memento Ink - Ladybug


INSTRUCTIONS for the card
The card measures 3 3/4 x 8 3/4
The box measures 4 x 9
 Cut and A4 sheet of white card to 7 1/2 x 8 3/4inches and fold in half tent-wise
Cover with  paper from the paper pad, leaving a small border all around the outside edge
Die cut the smallest Decorative Pocket Accents die in white card
Cut out one tag and three butterflies from the paper pad
Stamp, colour and die cut  lots of small, medium and large double layer sunflowers and three lady birds
Stamp, colour and die cut some leaves
Place in the basic flower shaping mold, lightly spritz with water and run through a die cutting machine, tap out, allow to dry
Lightly shape with the flower shaping kit tool
Glue flower layers together, when dry add glitter or Prills to the centers
Adhere the small pocket accent die cut to the card  just above the line of stitches
Glue the small sentiment tag through the slit
Add butterflies around the card, add beaded bodies 
Adhere sunflowers, leaves and lady birds around the card
Using Dries Clear glue, add clear glitter to the butterflies, lady birds and sunflowers.

All done.

HOW TO MAKE THE BOX
The box measures 9 x 4 inches
You will need two A4 sheets of white cardstock and paper from the paper pad
Cut the lid to 6 1/4 x 11 1/4 inches
Cut the base to 6  x 11 inches
Score at 1 inch on all four sides on both pieces, fold and crease all sides
Cut tabs on opposite sides of the box on both pieces
 Nip out a tiny wedge on each section of each tab with scissors
Add glue to the front of the tab, bring base up and glue together
Glue all four tabs down and hold the corners together with clips until dry
Line the base with pretty paper
Adhere another paper to the lid
Decorate lid with a flower and butterfly.
All done.

15th September CLASSIC SUNFLOWER COLLECTION SLIMLINE CARD WITH BOX & INSTRUCTIONS


Morning everyone and welcome to my latest card. 

I know the new Rustic Sunflower Collection is out now, but for those of you who have the Classic Sunflower Collection already then this is for you.  The Classic Sunflower paper pad is still available in the Heartfelt Shop but not the stamp and die. You could make this using the new stamp and die if you have it.

Today I have made a slim line card with matching box. See instructions below.

White card, 9x4inch card blank, clear glitter, foam pads, small black beads, dark brown glitter, Ranger distress ink in Pale Honey.


INSTRUCTIONS
The card measures 9 x 4
 Cut and A4 sheet of white card to 8x9inches and fold in half
Cover with a blue paper from the paper pad, leaving a small border all around the outside edge
Die cut one Regal Pocket Border Accents die in white card
Cut out two borders, one tag, two butterflies and the denim pocket from the paper pad
Stamp, colour and die cut  six small double layer sunflowers and one medium double layer sunflower and three lady birds
Place in the basic flower shaping mold, lightly spritz with water and run through a die cutting machine, tap out, allow to dry
Lightly shape with the flower shaping kit
Glue layers together, when dry add glitter or Prills to the centers
Adhere the narrow sentiment strip to the card with foam tape just above the line of stitches
Adhere another sentiment strip above this, leaving a gap to insert the Regal Pocket Border die cut, adhere
Using foam tape, adhere the denim pocket leaving a small gap for the tag, slide in the tag and add glue
Add butterflies around the card, add beaded bodies 
Adhere sunflowers and lady birds around the card
Using Dries Clear glue, add clear glitter to the butterflies, lady birds and sunflowers.
All done.

The box measures 9 3/4 x 4 3/4
You will need two A4 sheets of white cardstock and paper from the paper pad
Cut the lid to 6 3/4 x 11 3/4
Cut the base to 6 1/2 x 11 1/2
Score at 1 inch on all four sides on both pieces, fold and crease all sides
Cut tabs on opposite sides of the box on both pieces
 Nip out a tiny wedge on each section of each tab with scissors
Add glue to the front of the tab, bring base up and glue together
Glue all four tabs down and hold the corners together with clips until dry
Line the base with pretty paper
Adhere another paper to the lid
Decorate lid with a flower and butterfly.
All done.

8th September HEARTFELT CREATIONS CLIMBING CLEMATIS QUICK & EZ THANK YOU CARD WITH LIDDED BOX INSTRUCTIONS

 INSPIRATION WEDNESDAY

Morning Heartfelt Crafters, I hope everyone is well. Today I have another new card up for you with the 

CLIMBING CLEMATIS COLLECTION

If you love pinks and purples with a mix of green, then this collection is for you.

OTHER PRODUCTS USED
6x6inch card blank, clear glitter, foam pads, hot glue gun, Ranger Distress Inks - Dusty Concord, Mowed Lawn, Brushed Corduroy


EZ CARD INSTRUCTIONS
Cut a 6x6 inch panel from the paper pad, adhere to a 6x6inch card blank
Die cut lots of Clematis flowers and leaves from the paper pad, ink the edges
Place flowers and leaves in the Shaping Mold, lightly spritz with water and run through a die cutting machine
When dry, lightly shape with a shaping tool then pierce a hole through the center of the flowers
Thread stamens through the centers using a small piece of doubled over wire
Add hot glue to keep in place, remove wire and cut off the excess threads from the stamens
Die cut and ink the edges of the small bird house, lightly shape with the shaping tool
Die cut and ink the largest floral spray
Die cut the Thank you sentiment and background, ink the edges
Die cut two small birdies
You are now ready to put the card together
First, adhere the Thank You die cut to the background and adhere to the front of the card with foam tape, slightly to the right
Add the floral spray to the top of the sentiment
Adhere the small birdhouse to the left of the Sentiment with foam tape
Using hot glue, adhere the flowers and leaves and  little birds around the card
Using dries clear glue and a small brush or sponge, add the glue over all the flowers and leaves, sprinkle glitter all over the card.
All done.

BOX INSTRUCTIONS
YOU WILL NEED
 A4 card x 2 pieces 
Score board, scoring tool, scissors, paper trimmer, glue,
 flowers and  papers from the paper pad.
