FABSCRAPS FRIDAY WITH JONES CRAFTS - CATCH OF THE DAY 30th September


Hi everyone, welcome to my blog and my latest layout for Fabscraps Friday here at Fabscraps and Jones Crafts.
Jessie recently did some modeling for a clothing company down at the beach, I thought these papers would be perfect.
HERES HOW
Matt photo in blue card stock
Matt again onto one of the pretty papers, 6 x 6 inches, ink the edges
Matt again onto some dark blue card, 7 x 7 inches
Matt again onto blue card 8 x 8 inches, ink edges
Adhere to background paper
Cut a border strip of pretty paper 2.5 x 2.5 inches, ink edges
Matt onto dark blue card, adhere as per layout
Cut out a journalling card of lined paper, matt, ink, adhere
Now start to decorate,fussy cut some shells, ink and adhere
Cut out a tag from the papers, ink, matt, colour the phrase in black ink, add a die cut anchor from the collection, ink edges, add a brad, adhere on foam pads
Fussy cut some seaweed, circles and a fish, ink edges, adhere
Now ink up the chipboard fish in white ink, then emboss with gold embossing powder. 
And there you have it one seaside page without flowers!!!

ANOTHER CARD FOR YOU USING NOOR DESIGN CHALLENGE


Hi lovely crafters and welcome to my blog. Today I have a card for you using some of the NOOR DESIGN September kit and challenge. The challenge is to use Lace and Flowers.
HERES HOW
Matt a 6 x 6 inch card blank with pretty paper, ink edges
Matt again in plain card cut to 4.5 x 4.5 inches, ink edges
Matt this with some music paper, ink edges
Matt vintage photo, ink edges, glue onto some thick card to raise up
Adhere white doily to card
Add matted photo
Now start to decorate with flowers, leaves, pearls, stamens and lace
Add a sentiment and they you have it.
STASH USED
September kit from Noor Design, 6 x 6 card blank, plain cardstock, pretty paper from kit, brown chalk ink, white doily from kit, music paper, large flower from kit, ceramic rose, lace flowers, sticky back pearls, stamens, leaves, lace, sentiment.

BERRY71BLEU DESIGN TEAM REVEAL - SEPTEMBER SKETCH CHALLENGE - BEST FRIENDS


Hi everyone and welcome to my blog and the latest BERRY71BLEU challenge for September.
For this months challenge, we have a sketch by the lovely Paivi.
For this challenge simply follow the sketch and follow the theme of
Add something blue.


As you can see I have added a couple of blue flowers to mine.
HERES HOW
Take your background paper and a stencil/mask and add lots of white texture paste dots all over the page.
When dry, add lots of stamping around the page in pink and yellow
Next add some paint flicks in brown, pink and yellow
When dry, adhere paper strips down the page not forgetting to tear then ink around the edges
Matt photo in pink card
Matt onto torn and inked music paper, adhere as per the sketch
Now start to decorate with flowers, sisal, pearls etc
Next take a chipboard title, ink and emboss, adhere.

CARD INSPIRATION

Hi everyone and welcome to my blog and another card for your inspiration. For this card I have used goodies from NOOR Design, using one of the monthly card kits. I have also entered this into their September challenge FLOWERS AND LACE.

FABSCRAPS FRIDAY FOR JONES CRAFT DESIGN TEAM - Down by the seaside - September 16th


Hi everyone and welcome to my blog and my latest project with FABSCRAPS for JONES CRAFTS DESIGN TEAM.
I love these papers and hope you do too.
HERES HOW I DID THIS
Matt photo
Cut a large border for the centre panel in pretty paper - 4.5 x 12 inches
Matt onto plain card stock, adhere
Cut another pretty paper 6 x 6 inches, matt, adhere as per layout
Make a journalling block by cutting out some lined paper, matt and adhere for hidden journalling
Cut out one of the tags from the paper collection, matt, add fuzzy fibres and adhere as per layout
Take the chipboard words, ink and emboss, adhere
Fussy cut some star fish from one of the papers, add down the side
Stamp and die cut some flowers, adhere and add some pearls.

ANOTHER CARD FOR INSPIRATION


Hi everyone and welcome to  my blog.
I am hoping to inspire you today to make a card.
I have used the challenge up at ALTAIRART for my inspiration.

HERES HOW
Cover a 6 x 6 inch card blank with pretty paper, ink edges
Matt a pretty vintage image
Now start to make some layers, I used 6 layers of different dies and sizes,
 using lilac, white and green card for every other layer
Adhere matted photo
Now start to decorate with three flowers on one side,  add in some leaves, stamens, sisal and a butterfly
Next add some mini flowers on the opposite side, two stickpins, a lace flower, a punched out butterfly and a pearl button
Add some lace to opposite sides of the card
Add a sentiment.

Lilac, green and white card
Dies, ovals, in different sizes

FABSCRAPS FRIDAY FOR JONES CRAFTS DESIGN TEAM REVEAL - FAMILY MEMORIES



Hi everyone and welcome to my blog and my latest layout with FABSCRAPS and JONES CRAFTS Design Team.
It was Grandads 90th Birthday Bash recently so here is another layout using the photos we took.

HERES HOW
Double matt photo in coordinating pink card
Lightly adhere to background pretty paper
Now start adding layers, inking the edges as you go
Adhere first layer, 9.5 x 6.5 in pink card
Then just keep adding layers
Die cut some flourishes, adhere
Stamp and die cut some flowers, adhere
Emboss the chipboard title, adhere
Add a punched out butterfly and a sticker
Add flower centres.
