SCRAP OUR STASH DESIGN TEAM REVEAL JULY SKETCH CHALLENGE - OISTINS

Hi everyone, and welcome to my blog and the latest 


SCRAP OUR STASH sketch challenge.

I loved this challenge, I love sketches as they are a great 

jumping off point for your creativity. I chose to turn this one

on its side!

 


HERES HOW I DID THIS

Choose papers and embellishments
Cut photo in half, matt onto card stock, ink the edges
Hand cut a 10 inch long banner, ink the edges
Tear a sheet of pretty paper, adhere to background paper
Attach banner as per the sketch

Adhere photo

Add narrow journalling borders

Cut another photo to 3 x 3 inches, matt and ink edges

Adhere as per the sketch

Now start to decorate with flowers, leaves and butterflies

Add a journaling block using two small metal arrows
Add another metal arrow and a number 
This is the post code of where we were staying
Die cut a swirl and attach
Die cut the title.

CARDABILITIES # 127


Hi everyone, if you like making cards, check out this fab card sketch over at Cardabilities.
SKETCH #127
 
Here is how I made mine.
Take a card blank and cover it with black cardstock, leave a small white margin
Take a pretty paper, cut it down slightly smaller than the black card, adhere
Using hot glue, attach small pearl flowers all along the edges
Start to decorate with the largest flower first
Now add some leafy branches
Add pink, white and green flowers
Add two small butterflies
Make a small banner for the sentiment
Make a small row of flags using a stamp.

This is our challenge for July, Create a Layout and include an item from your stash for each letter in the word P-H-O-T-O-S.

So, without further ado, here's how I did this page and this is what I used.
P is for Paper Clip, H is for Hessian, O is for Oval, T is for Tag, O is for Ocean Blue cardstock, S is for Stamping (around the page).

Choose background pretty paper, card stock and embellishments
Matt photo
Cut a 10 inch strip of Hessian/Burlap, adhere to background paper
Cut two banners 9.5 inches long, ink the edges, adhere to hessian
Die cut two ovals, ink the edges, adhere to banners
Stamp around the page with small stamps
Add matted photo, attach a paper clip
Start to decorate with a tag and two smaller banner pieces
Add flowers, cogs, key and chipboard
Finally add title.

BERRY 71 BLEU DESIGN TEAM REVEAL


Hi everyone and welcome to my blog and the Berry71Bleu July Die cut challenge.

You can create layouts, cards, art journals, tags or even altered projects, as long as they contain dies. Now since everyone might not have a die cutting machine, purchased die cuts are great to use too...I seem to always have some of these in my stash and I bet you probably have some too!!
This is a fab challenge inspired and sponsored by Heartfelt Creations, so we have amazing prizes for you.
HERE IS HOW I DID MINE
First of all choose your papers and embellies
Cut out a sheet of pretty paper to 11 x 11 inches, distress the edges
Adhere to a sheet of background card stock
Matt photo, distress the edges
Matt and distress again
Adhere to a 6 x 6 inch layer, distress the edges
Matt again onto coordinating card stock, distress the edges
Adhere to pretty paper at a slight angle
Now start to decorate
I made lots of flowers using a Heartfelt Creations Die and stamp
I also die cut lots of swirly pieces and added these
So, add flowers and pearls, swirls and butterflies
I die cut a small key and attached with fibres
I stamped and die cut some butterflies
Add a few more bits and pieces and the title.

CARDABILITIES #126



Hi everyone and welcome to my blog and my latest project.
Today I have used a sketch from CARDABILITIES for my inspiration.

HERES HOW
I used a DL card blank
Cover with pretty paper
Adhere a piece of cream lace to right side
Cut a long strip of card 2 inches wide, ink the edges, adhere
Cut a fancy edge on coordinating paper, ink edges and adhere on top of the lace and paper strip
Cut out another strip of coordinating paper 1.5 inches wide, ink the edges, adhere
Add a strip of scalloped lace
Add some flower pearl trim down the edge of the lace
Start to decorate with flowers
Add ribbon and fuzzy fibres
Attach two small resin roses
Add the title sentiment with foam pads.
