FEBRUARY 22nd HEARTFELT CREATIONS ORNATE PEACOCK COLLECTION CARD


 Morning lovely crafting friends, 

Its Inspiration Wednesday here at Heartfelt Creations and I have an Ornate Window card up for you today using the Ornate Peacock and Slimline Dies Collections

INSTRUCTIONS

For this 6 1/4" x 4 1/4" Ornate Window card, die cut the Ornate Window using the Ornate Window Die Set, by taping the outside edge of the Window die slightly over the folded edge of a 6" x 4" card, with low tack tape. Die cut another Ornate Window in blue paper from the Ornate Peacock Paper Collection. Adhere to card front with Designer Dries Clear Adhesive.

Die cut an Ornate Window outside edge in Flower Shaping Paper. Die cut the inner frame piece and die cut out the windows. Adhere the inner frame to the window. Adhere to card front with foam tape. Stamp onto Flower Shaping Paper another Ornate Window in Memento Danube Blue ink. Die cut the inner windows out. Die cut the inner window frame in Clear Cardstock, adhere to the back of the Ornate Window with Dries Clear Adhesive. Adhere to front of card with foam tape.

Die cut the outside edge of the Slim Gateway Rectangle die, from the Slim Gateway Rectangle Die Set, in blue paper from the paper collection. Die cut the inner edge in white card. Adhere to blue paper. Cut off the bottom section. Adhere to back of the Ornate Window Card.

Stamp the large Peacock from the Ornate Peacock Cling Stamp Set in Memento - Blue Danube ink. Color with Ranger Archival Vibrant Fuschia, Ranger Archival Forget Me Not and Blue Danube inks using Daubers. Add a little yellow ink to the beak. Die cut with the matching die. Die cut another large Peacock in Flower Shaping Paper, glue the two together. Adhere to Window with foam tape. Stamp the long Posie from the Peacock and Posies Cling Stamp Set, in Blue Danube ink. Color with Blue Danube, Forget Me Not and Vibrant Fuschia inks using Daubers. Die cut with the matching die. Adhere to side of Ornate Window. Add small white pearls to the flowers. Sponge Dries Clear Adhesive onto Peacock and flowers, add clear glitter. All done.

February 15th HEARTFELT CREATIONS DEBUT OF THE ORNATE PEACOCKS COLLECTION - Peacock Window Card

INSTRUCTIONS

To make this 5 1/2" x 4" tent fold Ornate Window card, take the outside edge of the Ornate Window from the Ornate Window Die Set, place onto Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper, tape slightly off the edge of the top of the card and run through a die cutting machine. Die cut another Ornate Window outside edge in Flower Shaping Paper to glue to the back of the finished card.

Take the Ornate Window Stamp from the Ornate Window Cling Stamp Set, stamp twice onto blue paper from the Ornate Peacocks Paper Collection, with Distress ink in Peacock Feathers.  Lightly color the edges and hinges with the same ink, using a Dauber. Die cut with the matching die. Adhere to card front with foam tape.

Die cut the centre window piece and top frame piece from the second Ornate Window Die-cut. Die cut the window inside edge in Luxe Silver Card stock.  Adhere the window frame to the silver card. Adhere to card front using foam tape. Adhere frame piece with foam pads to the window.

Stamp the large peacock from the Ornate Peacock Cling Stamp Set in Peacock Feathers ink, color with the same ink using a Dauber. Color the flowers on the Peacock in Distress ink - Picked Raspberry using a Dauber. Color the beak with light yellow ink. Die cut with the matching die. Adhere to window with foam tape. 

Stamp the Posies from the Peacock and Posies Cling Stamp Set in Distress ink in Picked Raspberry ink, color with the same ink using a Dauber. Die cut with the matching die. Cut off the flower section and adhere to body of the Peacock with Designer Dries Clear Adhesive.

To make the Lilies, Stamp two sets of Lilies from the Garden Lily Cling Stamp Set, in Peacock Feathers ink, color with the same ink using a Dauber. Die cut with the matching die. Place in the Lily Shaping Mold, lightly mist with water and run through a die cutting machine. Tap out, pierce a hole in the centres with the piercing tool from the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit and thread white Beaded Stamens through. Off set the petals as you go and adhere with Designer Dries Clear Adhesive. 

Stamp three small Zinnias from the Large Garden Zinnia Cling Stamp Set, in Picked Raspberry ink. Color using a Dauber. Die cut with the matching Die. Lightly shape with the stylus from the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit. Pierce a hole in the center, thread a white Beaded Stamen and adhere with Dries Clear Adhesive. Adhere Lilies and Zinnias to the card front with hot glue. 

 Adhere a few small white pearls to the Peacock flowers. Sponge Dries Clear Adhesive onto Peacock and flowers, add clear glitter. Stamp a Sentiment from the Cheerful Note Sentiment Cling Stamp Set in Ranger Archival Jet Black ink, onto Flower Shaping Paper, die cut with a tag from the Ticket & Tags Die Set. Adhere to side of card. Glue the plain die cut Ornate Window to the back of the card. All done.

February 8th HEARTFELT CREATIONS ORNATE PEACOCK COLLECTION - Tent Fold Easel Card

INSTRUCTIONS

For the base of this 9" x 4" Tent Fold card, take a sheet of Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper and cut to 9" x 8". Score and fold at 4" then at 2". on the 8" side. Adhere paper from the Ornate Peacock Paper Collection, cut to 9" x 4", to the inside of the card. Cut two pieces of the same paper to 9" x 2", adhere to the first and second 2"folds on the front of the card, using Designer Dries Clear Glue.

To make the card front, die cut the largest outside edge of the Slim Elegant Rectangle Die Set in white card. Die cut another one in pink paper from the Paper Collection. Adhere the pink die-cut to the white die-cut. Die cut the second size Elegant Rectangle in white card. Adhere to pink paper. 

Stamp two sets of Posies from the Peacock & Posies Cling Stamp Set in Distress Ink in Peacock Feathers. Color with Ranger Archival Viridian and Garden Patina inks and Peacock Feathers inks, using Daubers. Color the flowers and feathers with Distress ink in Picked Raspberry. Adhere a Posy to either end of the card

Stamp the Ornate Peacock and the smaller Peacock from the Ornate Peacock Cling Stamp Set and Peacock and Posies Cling Stamp Set, onto Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper, in Distress ink - Peacock Feathers. Color with Ranger Archival Viridian and Garden Patina inks using Daubers. Color the flowers and feathers with Distress ink in Picked Raspberry, using a small brush. Color the beaks with a little light-yellow ink. Die cut with the matching dies. Adhere with foam tape to the front of the card. Add small gems to the flower centres.

To make the flowers, stamp onto Flower Shaping Paper in Picked Raspberry ink, two sets of small Garden Zinnias from the Large Garden Zinnia Cling Stamp Set. Stamp the smaller set of Zinnias from the Small Garden Zinnia Cling Stamp Set. Color with Picked Raspberry ink using a Dauber. Die cut with the matching Dies. Lightly mist with water and shape by hand with the stylus from the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit. Pierce a hole in the centres with the paper piercer from the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit. Thread pink Beaded Stamens through, add glue and cut off the wires. Adhere to card front with hot glue.

For the stopper, die cut the 5 3/4" x 2" frame from the Slim Elegant Rectangle Die Set, in pink paper, from the Ornate Peacock Paper Collection. Adhere to patterned paper base of card. Stamp a Sentiment from the Special Birthday Sentiments Cling Stamp Set onto white card, in Ranger Archival Vibrant Fuschia ink. Die cut with the 4 1/4" x 1 1/2" frame die from the Slim Elegant Rectangle Die Set. Adhere to pink frame with foam tape. Stamp two Posies from the Ornate Peacock Cling Stamp Set. Color as per the Peacocks, adhere to either side of the Sentiment. Adhere two small Zinnias to either side with hot glue. Add small gems to the flower centres. Sponge Designer Dries Clear Glue over the flowers and Peacocks. Apply clear glitter. All done.

February 1st HEARTFELT CREATIONS GARDEN LILY EASEL CARD - Birthday Love

INSTRUCTIONS

To make the card front of this 9 ½" x 4" Slimline, Tent Fold, Easel card; cut a piece of Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper to 9 1/2" x 4". Take the largest, 9 ½" x 4" Slim Eyelet Rectangle Die, from the Slim Eyelet Rectangle Die Set, die cut in green paper from the Garden Lily Paper Collection. Adhere to card front with Designer Dries Clear Adhesive. Take the largest Slim Basic Rectangle Die, from the Slim Basic Rectangle Die Set, die cut in pink paper from the Garden Lily Paper Collection. Adhere to card front. Cut a 2 ½" x 9" strip of pretty paper from the paper collection, adhere down the centre of the card front.

To make the easel part of the card, take a 12" x 12" sheet of Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper, cut two 12" x 4" strips. Score both strips at 4" and 8". Cut off one 4" section from one of the strips, glue the two strips together at a 4" section, so that there is now a four-section strip. Cover the first and last 4" sections with matching paper from the Paper Collection.

To make five Lilies, stamp onto Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper, and color using a Dauber, with Ranger Archival Rose Madder ink, two sets of Garden Lilies from the Garden Lily Cling Stamp Set. Die cut with the matching dies. Stamp and color three leaves, in Ranger Archival Olive ink. Die cut with the matching dies. Place Lilies and Leaves in the Garden Lily Flower Shaping Mold, lightly mist with water, and run through a die cutting machine. Tap out and make holes in the centers of the Lilies using a Paper Piercing tool from the Deluxe Flower Making Kit. Glue two sets of the same size petals together with Dries Clear Adhesive. Offset the petals as you go. Thread Petite Pollen Stamens through the holes and glue in place.

To make the foliage, stamp with Olive ink, onto Flower Shaping Paper, five long buds from the Garden Lily Bouquet & Buds Stamp Set, two large Garden Lily Fillers, five small sprays and two bouquet sprays from the Garden Lily Spray & Fillers Cling Stamp Set.  Color with Olive ink using a Dauber. Color the flowers and buds with Rose Madder ink, using a Dauber.  Die cut with the matching dies. Lightly mist with water and shape all pieces with the stylus from the Deluxe Flower Making Kit.

To decorate the card front, adhere the two largest Garden Lily Fillers to the top and bottom of the card front. Adhere the Lilies down the center, with hot glue. Adhere all the foliage and buds in between the Lilies. Stamp a sentiment from the Special Birthday Sentiments Cling Stamp Set onto Flower Shaping Paper, in Olive ink. Die cut with a tag from the Album Tags and Accents Die Set. Adhere Tag to card front. Adhere a small pearl to the tag. Adhere the card front to the first 4"-fold, of the easel sections strip, which is the reverse of the papered section. Make sure to only add glue to the first 4" section of the card front. 

To make the stopper for the easel, adhere two bouquet sprays together and adhere to the bottom half of the last 4" section. Lightly sponge Dries Clear Adhesive over the Lilies, foliage and buds.  Apply clear glitter. All done.
