CRAFTERS PALETTE DESIGN TEAM REVEAL MAY PAGE MAP CHALLENGE - Sweet Moments

Hi everyone and welcome to my blog and another
CRAFTERS PALETTE Design Team Reveal.
For this month we have a fab page map challenge. If you like using lots of photos then this one is for you.
I created this layout using some of Jessies' photos of her recent trip to Newquay in Cornwall for an all girl Birthday week end.

For this layout I did some stamping with a large bottle top and some ink. I tried out lots of different colours first and found that this silvery white ink showed up the best. I randomly stamped over everything as per the page map. This page map is brilliant if you like using lots of photos and Jess had lots from her trip.
xxx
HERES HOW
First choose eight photos and cut to 3.5 x 3.5 inches
Matt onto white cardstock
Adhere to page as per the photo
For the center, type up the journalling, matt a few times, adhere onto a 3.5 inch square
Next, stamp around the page using a circle bottle top or lid of some kind and some silvery white ink
Add some chipboard embellishments.
xxx
PRODUCTS USED
Cardstock - blue, white and sky blue
Silvery white ink
Bottle top
Embellishments from Kaisercraft.

BERRY71BLEU MOOD BOARD MAY CHALLENGE

Hi everyone and welcome to my blog and my latest project for
May Mood Board Challenge.
For this challenge I decided to make something a little different and made a mixed media project.

For this fabulous mood board I used the purple, the gold, the yellow and brown colours along with the damask feel of the background in the first photo.
HERES HOW
Take a glass bottle, mine was a maple syrup bottle with a handle
Prime with your favourite primer and allow to dry
Cut up lots of little pieces of muslin and apply with watered down PVA glue, cover the entire bottle in this way to provide some texture
Allow to dry
Apply lace in the same way
Allow to dry
When completely dry, paint all over with white paint, allow to dry
Add gold, purple and brown inks randomly over the bottle
Attach a small strip of lace around the bottle with glue
Using a hot glue gun, attach a small frame and photo
Add assorted flowers and stamens
Glue fibres around the top, then lace
When completely dry, add a pretty lid.
ITEMS USED
Small bottle
Muslin
Lace
White glue
White paint
Mini frame, painted
Mini photo from the internet
Assorted flowers
Mini Stamens
Hot glue gun
Pretty lid.

This project took quite a long time as I left each layer overnight to dry just to be sure. I hope you like it and have a go using our May Mood Board. And don't forget to look out for more projects from the rest of the team.
