October 5th HEARTFELT CREATIONS OVAL FILIGREE FRAME DIE EASEL CARD - Heartfelt Thanks

INSTRUCTIONS

Take a 5"x 7" card blank, tent fold, score at 2.5" on the front half of the card. Fold and burnish with a bone folder. Using the pale green paper from the Hollyhock Garden Paper Collection, cut one piece to 5" x7" and two pieces to 2.5" x 7". Adhere to base and both halves of the front using Designer Clear Glue.

Die cut the largest Oval Filigree Frame Die in white card, twice. Cut one in half. Put this half to one side. With the card folded in half at the 2.5"fold, adhere the bottom half of the full die to the card front panel using Dries Clear Glue. Do not add glue to the top half of the Oval Filigree Frame. Die cut the large plain oval die in dark green paper from the Paper Pad. Adhere to the front of the card. Die cut the next size down Filigree Frame in white card. Adhere to front of card.

Turn the card over, adhere the half Oval Filigree Frame Die to the back of the Filigree Frame, to the first fold. Die cut the large oval in pale green paper. Cut in half or approximately 2 1/4" deep, adhere to the back of the Oval Filigree Frame, so that the back looks neat.

Die cut the smaller Oval Filigree Frame in dark green paper. Take the 3"x 4.25" Oval from the Eyelet Oval & Basics Large Die Set, die cut in white card, twice. Adhere the ovals together. Adhere the dark green Oval Filigree Frame die to the white ovals. This will be the stepper part of the card. Adhere to the center of the base part of the card.

Stamp a Sentiment from the Thank You Sentiments Stamp Set in Ranger Archival Leaf Green ink onto Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper. Die cut using the smallest oval from the Oval Filigree Frame Die Set. Ink the edges in Leaf Green ink. Adhere to the center of the green Oval Frame using foam tape.

Stamp in Ranger Archival Magenta Hue ink, onto Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper, six large Hollyhocks from the Hollyhocks Petals and Leaves Cling Stamp Set, eight medium Hollyhocks and three small Hollyhocks. Die cut with the matching dies. Ink the edges in Magenta Hue ink, using a Dauber. Place in the 3D Hollyhock Shaping Mold and lightly spritz with water. Run through a die cutting machine. Tap out and lightly shape with the Stylus from the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit. Pierce a hole in the centers, thread a white Pastel Bead Stamen from the Medium Pastel Bead Stamens Set, through two layers of petals. Add Dries Clear Glue in between each layer, offset the petals as you go. Take one set of EZ Stem Floral Wires, adhere a Hollyhock to each stem. You should have seven. Spread the Stems out and adhere to front of card with hot glue.

Stamp using Ranger Archival ink in Leaf Green, lots of Leafy Accents Leaves from the Leafy Accents Cling Stamp Set. Die cut with the matching dies. Place in the 3D Leafy Accents Shaping Mold, lightly spritz with water and run through a die cutting machine. Tap out, when dry, lightly shape with the Stylus from the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit. Ink edges in Leaf Green ink, using a Dauber. Lightly ink edges with a touch of Magenta Hue for contrast, using a Dauber. Cut the leaves apart into smaller sections and adhere leaves around the Hollyhocks with hot glue. Adhere three small Hollyhocks to the side of the Sentiment. Adhere a set of three leaves from the Leafy Accents Stamps & Dies Set to the side of the small Hollyhocks. Using a small sponge and Dries Clear Glue, apply glue over the Hollyhocks and Leaves. Add Clear Glitter. All done.
