MAY 3rd HEARTFELT CREATIONS Sending You a Hug - Slimline card with Classic Roses

Morning lovely crafting friends,

Its Inspiration Wednesday here at Heartfelt Creations and I have made a slimline card using the Black Friday Die Collection and the Friendship Rose Paper Collection.

INSTRUCTIONS

Take a 9" x 4" card blank and cover with dark pink paper from the Friendship Rose Paper Collection. Die cut one Slim Lattice Oval Die in white card. Cut out a piece of pale pink paper from the Paper Collection to fit the Slim Lattice Oval die cut. Adhere die cut to the pink paper. Adhere this to a piece of medium pink paper from the Paper Collection cut to 3 1/2" x 8 1/2". Using the centre Oval from the Slim Lattice Die Set, die cut the outside edge in dark pink paper from the Paper Collection. Adhere the small pink oval outside edge die cut, to the centre of the card. Stamp a Sentiment from the Friendship Sentiments Cling Stamp Set, in Lilac Posies ink, onto white card. Die cut with the small oval from the Slim Lattice Oval Die Set. Adhere to centre of small pink oval with foam tape

Stamp in Memento Lilac Posies ink, onto Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper, an assortment of Classic Roses from the Classic Roses Cling Stamp Set. Color with the same ink using a Dauber. Die cut with the matching dies. Ink the edges in Lilac Posies ink.

Stamp six sets of leaves from the Classic Rose Cling Stamp Set, in Ranger Archival Leaf Green ink. Color with the same ink using a Dauber. Die cut with the matching dies. Place in the 3D Rose Shaping Mold, along with the Roses, lightly spritz with water, and run through a die cutting machine. Tap out and lightly shape with the Stylus from the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit, on the reverse.

Make six buds using the small Classic Rose Petals. Use one set of petals for the small Roses. Add two sets of small petals for the medium Roses and three sets for the large Roses. Apply Dries clear glue to the reverse and bring all the petals up into the middle and hold for a few moments to allow the glue to dry. Add three layers of open petals for all Roses. Add petal layers to each bud with Dries Clear Glue. Off-set the petals as you go. Make two large, two medium and two small Classic Roses. Adhere the leaves to the back of the Roses. Adhere the Roses in a line, to either side of the Sentiment using hot glue, starting with the large Roses.

Sponge Dries Clear Adhesive over the card, add clear glitter. All done.
